How To Make Roasted Nuts

This roasted nuts recipe will absolutely be one of the easiest things you’ll ever throw together. Everyone goes into a bowl, mixy-mixy, into the the oven for 15 minutes, and that’s it!

Once they’re roasted, be sure to let them cool for about 15 minutes. After that, I dare you to try and not eat them all.

For this recipe, make sure you only purchase raw nuts. Don’t buy something that is already cooked and seasoned. You will end up with scorched nuts. No one likes a scorched nut.

How To Serve Them

Let’s talk about the many places this roasted nuts recipe will shine. First off, your snacking options have just improved greatly. They are fantastic on their own. So much so that I have to watch my portions. I could eat my weight in these little beauties.

My children absolutely love these roasted nuts, too. Not only do they request them to munch on, but they are perfect for lunchboxes and easy snacks on the go for busy bodies

One of my favorite ways to enjoy this recipe is on a charcuterie or snack board. Perfectly salty and savory with a crunch is just what these roasted nuts are about. They would fit right in with any variety of meats and cheeses and other lovely munch’ems.

And, if your looking for another charcuterie/snack board player, try my quick pickled red onions. You can never go wrong with a great pickled onion.

Recipe Variations

In this particular recipe, I use cashews and almonds. They are our family’s favorites. However, you can absolutely use whatever nut or seed combination you like. Peanuts, pistachios, or macadamias would all be wonderful.

Seeds like sunflower and pumpkin would be delicious here. Just make sure you watch them very carefully during the roasting to avoid burning.

Smoked paprika is probably my favorite spice in the pantry. I put it on everything. I don’t even own regular paprika. Smoked, in my opinion, is superior and perfect on roasted nuts.
