Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1-½ teaspoons allspice
  • 1-½ teaspoons cloves

Instructions

  • Just whisk all the spices together until evenly combined.

  • The ground ginger tends to form small lumps. Those are easiest to break up by pressing down with the back of a spoon.

  • Store the new spice mix in an airtight container. Small 4 ounce jelly jars are perfect for this.

TIP:
Some pumpkin recipes don't call for pumpkin pie spice, but for an assortment of individual spices.
Instead of pulling all your spice jars from the pantry, just add up the spice amounts in the recipe, and replace with an equal amount of Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix.
